County Durham Environment Awards 2020

Late in 2020, just in time this time, as opposed to just too late in 2019, Jenny remembered that she had intended to enter for the County Durham Environment Awards, so with just a day or so to go before entries closed, she hurriedly put together an entry for Dalton Moor Farm, showing how, through lots of hard work and determination she had transformed the farm landscape from pretty desolate and windswept, to verdant. lush and teeming with wildlife.

To our utter astonishment and joy we won the Natural Environment Category with Highly Commended and some lovely words of praise for our 'outstanding work' in the Awards Ceremony in February 2021.

So we did a little jig and a happy dance.

And we did celebrate with a glass of our lovely Cider
