What is a Drum Circle?

A circle of drums played by a circle of people, who come together to form community and connection, and to enjoy the healing effects of drumming.

To join in the circle you do not need any previous experience of drumming, nor any experience of making music.

You don’t even need a drum, as we have some to lend.

All you need to bring is yourself, and your drum if you have one.

We will spend some time exploring the drums and some rhythms, and we will play as a group, as we find our own rhythms and freedom of expression.

Drumming has been shown to be calming, to reduce anxiety and to improve mental clarity.

Mostly the drum circles will be held in our magical giant classroom, but occasionally, weather permitting, we may take them outdoors.

Hot drinks are available.

Please bring other refreshments with you.

Please observe our vegan values and bring only plant based foods and drinks.

Also please avoid bringing single use plastic bottles, as we have signed the Dopper pledge to not have these on the farm.
