'We Are What We Eat'
Have you ever stopped to consider the literal meaning of this phrase?
It is of course 100% true. Each and every cell in our body, our hormones, enzymes and other chemicals, are built from the molecules we ingest in our diet. It follows therefore that if we eat the right building blocks our bodies can be healthy - in tip top condition.
If we eat junk on the other hand, our bodies will be cobbled together with junk, and just like if you were to build a house out of the wrong kind of, or poor quality materials, it would fall down, our bodies will also 'fall down' and we will become ill.
This is the main underlying cause of all our common chronic and debilitating diseases today.
We have become victims of clever marketing that encourages us to eat 'non'-foods that damage our health but line the pockets of the few. Even more sinister is that these 'non'-foods are intentionally designed to be addictive.
