About the Event
Moon Phase Circles and various moon rituals have been held for many centuries, probably thousands of years, to mark the changing cycles.
Full moon celebrations tend to focus on gratitude for what we have, or have been given.
The September full moon is called the Harvest Moon, due to this time of year being the peak of harvest season, with the long light days, and nights lit by moonlight that help farmers work through the night to bring in the harvest. The Harvest Moon is also the full moon closest to the Autumn Equinox, so sometimes can be in October.
We will meet at the car park at the School of Sustainable Living & Wellbeing at 7pm.
Then we will walk by candlelight to the fire circle, where we will settle ourselves into a circle around the fire.
You will need to wear waterproof boots or wellies, waterproof outer clothing…
