About the Event

ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us at the farm for some sustainable, environmentally friendly, and healthy, fun, as we prepare for Christmas Day.

Take a walk around the farm, following the trail of Christmas artefacts until you find Santa, his Sleigh and his Reindeer.

Grab a photo of you with Santa, or sitting in the Sleigh, or next to one of the Reindeer.

They usually rest at the farm for a couple of days before Christmas, so they have lots of energy to travel all around the world on Christmas Eve to deliver presents to everyone.

As you explore the farm, you will find lots of Festive Decorations. Count how many Stars, Bells, Christmas Trees, Santas, Reindeer, Snowmen, Angels, Snowflakes and more.

There are Fun Facts about Christmas to find too. If you can remember these you will be able to share with your friends and family at home.

After your walk, you are welcome to return to the big barn classroom, where there will be colouring in sheets, drinks and cookies.

Santa will be waiting for you in the barn when you get back there, and he will invite you to choose something from the sack of presents to take home.

PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW

Remember to bring your wellies (essential) and waterproofs and warm clothes, so you can stay warm and dry outdoors, whatever the weather.

There is free parking in the farm yard.

Compost loo, natural urinals, and hand washing are available beside the big barn.

We have a small shop selling our own products.

You may bring your dog provided s/he is kept on a lead and harness at all times, and is good with other children.

***

Access to the farm is from Truro Avneue, Murton. Our lane entrance is between houses number 42 and 43 Truro Avenue. The post code to use for this entrance is SR7 9LG

What3Words is ///warns.keen.blatantly.

Follow the lane down the hill to the large blond barn with a tan roof that you can see from the top of the hill. It's a single track road so look ahead for any oncoming vehicles before proceding in either direction.

NOTE; It is advisable NOT to use our own postcode (SR7 9JY) as most navigation systems direct to the wrong side of the farm where there is no vehicle access.
