About the Event
Come along to our basket weaving workshop for a special experience you will never forget.
Spend a day in our huge magical classroom learning how to weave a beautiful willow basket from scratch.
Jenny will guide you from start to finish.
Learn about willow as a material, then learn several different weaving techniques as you move through the various stages of creating your very own willow basket.
Finish the day with a very special and useful basket to take home and impress your family and friends.
All day you can chat and laugh with the small group of other people attending the workshop.
It's for beginners or people who have perhaps had a go at weaving before and want to do some more.
So much more enjoyable, relaxing and rewarding to make your own willow basket than buying one already made
Bring a packed lunch with you. We ask that you bring only plant based foods and drinks for the day, as we are a vegan farm. Hot drinks and water will be available throughout the day
Please avoid bringing single use plastic bottles, as we have signed the Dopper Pledge to not have these on the farm.
