About the Event

Come along to our Garden Weaving workshop for a special experience you will never forget.

Spend a day in our huge magical classroom learning how to weave a beautiful willow obelisk and plant supports from scratch.

Jenny will guide you from start to finish.

Learn about willow as a material, then learn several different weaving techniques as you move through the various stages of creating your very own unique willow structures.

Finish the day with a very special and useful obelisk and plant support to take home and impress your family and friends.

All day you can chat and laugh along, with the small group of other people sharing the journey with you.

This workshop is for everyone

It is so much more enjoyable, relaxing and rewarding to make your own willow garden structure than buying them already made, or plastic alternatives.

The weather on the day may be variable, so it is advisable to wear clothing layers, so that you can add or remove to manage your body temperature. (there is no heating)

Willow is wet while weaving and can be mucky, so it is best not to wear clothes you do not wish to mark.

Weaving is quite a physical activity so get lots of rest the night before your workshop Zzzz.
